2018 Legislative Session Debrief

On May 25th, WiRE held a debrief of the 2018 legislative session. We explored key renewable energy, energy efficiency, and clean transportation policies considered during the session.

 

Attendees heard directly from advocates, government, and lawmakers, including:

 

  • Rep. Chris Lee, Chair of House Committee on Energy and Environmental Protection
  • Carilyn Shon, Energy Program Administrator, State Energy Office
  • William Giese, Executive Director of the Hawaii Solar Energy Association

 

The discussion was moderated by Melissa Miyashiro, Chief of Staff at Blue Planet Foundation.
