WiRE members came together for an important conversation about what it really takes to help homes and businesses decarbonize. We learned firsthand from organizations working in community to increase energy resiliency at the household level. Panelists discussed how efforts to increase access to clean energy technologies must go beyond cost considerations in order to build trust and create scalable solutions.
With historic federal funding for clean energy flowing into Hawai‘i, we have an opportunity to get things right and make sure that residents, are benefiting from these money-saving programs and technologies.
We welcomed the discussion with community and industry leaders about how we can work to equitably bring clean energy to all in these challenging economic times.
