Exploring Hawaii’s Bioeconomy

On April 30th, WiRE hosted a lunch with local experts about Hawaii’s expanding bioeconomy, including opportunities, challenges and future plans.  We took a dive into the development of Hawaii’s first waste water renewable natural gas facility.

WiRE members also learned about innovative solutions for restoring agricultural productivity while generating clean energy, and explored renewable fuels for aviation and marine transportation. Panelists included:
